Procurement Manager

This dynamic specialist exteriors sub-contractor is currently undergoing a strong period of growth and continues to expand its operation. With this in mind they seek to appoint a Procurement Manage or Buyer to help grow the procurement team.

Based in the office and working closely with the Commercial team and pre-cons team, your primary duties will be to effectively and efficiently manage and oversee the planning and allocation of all materials to all sites for the installation of high end exterior contracts on time, within budget and to the high quality expected by the company.

Key Accountabilities:

Source, order and arrange delivery of all materials to site as required for each project and in accordance with the material quantities and prices within the schedule produced by the Estimating Team

Plan delivery schedules carefully to ensure that the materials are allocated according to the programme and site conditions necessary to complete all installations in accordance with the contract design specification and all terms agreed by the company.

Ensure all materials are properly ordered to ensure continuity of work on site and that adequate plans are made to accommodate on-site delivery time restrictions, limited access and coordination with the client/contractor and operatives as required to ensure downtime is minimised and that operational efficiency is maintained at all times.

An important element of this is ensuring adequate stock levels, maintaining accurate records and forward planning to ensure stock is replenished when required and informing Contracts Managers

Required Attributes and Experience:

The ideal individuals will have a stable background and comprehensive experience gained within a suitable specialist sub-contractor. Preferably you will have over 3 years experience of buying and procuring for projects up to £4 or £5 million. Experience of residential and commercial related projects an advantage.

  • Experience of working in an Estimating and Contracts Management environment or similar

  • Experience of working with ISO management systems (desirable)
  • Ability to think and act creatively and innovatively to meet the needs of the business

This company has gained their recognition as an innovative subcontractor by providing high-quality architectural glass solutions across London due to their unparalleled expertise in bespoke glazing, stainless steel and curtain walling.

High in demand to produce multiple projects for their blue-chip clients, they need a competent and experienced designer to maintain their advanced and modern status in the industry.

Working individually and within a team you will be responsible for all aspects of the design process. This will involve interpretation of architectural / services drawings leading to production of CAD layouts and working details. Therefore, you will have experience of using the latest AutoCAD packages ideally be proficient with Revit and or Solidworks. You will also have relevant, practical experience gained in a suitable sub-contractor environment where you will have been involved in managing various internal and external design elements in curtain walling, cladding, glazing, or metalwork.

Thus, to be successful in this role you will need to be commercially aware and have excellent communication skills.

Minimum requirements:

The ideal Design Manager will have gained 5 years' experience working on exterior facade projects. Ideally you will be degree qualified in a design related discipline or HND or City and Guilds qualified in a relevant construction or engineering related capacity.

Preferably you will also be computer literate with programming experience, have good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work without supervision and to use your own initiative and experience to fulfil the company's commitments.

A leading international façade subcontractor with a reputation built on their expertise and ability to deliver high-quality facades and curtain walling solutions are seeking a capable Commercial Manager with diverse commercial project experience to 3 o4 newly acquired projects in London. Established for over 20 years with an annual turnover reaching more than £30m in the UK. Projects vary in size but sit between £5 - £15 million.

As a Commercial Manager, you will be reporting directly to the Commercial Director to ensure successful delivery of various façade projects. Therefore, your day to day responsibilities will vary from but are not limited to:

  • Pre construction and procurement
  • Updating cost plans
  • Measurements
  • Providing written quotations
  • Negotiating final accounts
  • Meeting clients and Subcontractors
  • Applications for payments
  • Investigate, notify, and substantiate variations

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager to join a specialist contractor offering an opportunity to develop, grow and progress organically within the company. The ideal candidate will have 10 years' experience, in the construction industry, preferably with a facade, curtain walling or roofing subcontractor. A highly successful leading sub-contractor known for their expertise in specialist sub-contract packages is seeking an experienced Estimator to oversee securing their projects. The company is well recognised for their ability to design, procure, and install a variety of interior systems for some of the most prestigious multi-million pound projects in London coupled with a wide range of facades and externals projects.

As an Estimator you will be supporting and reporting to the Directors and pre-construction teams to ensure successful pricing of various commercial interiors projects. Therefore, your day to day responsibilities will vary from but are not limited to:

- Reviewing the Tender documentation.
- Developing the Tender design by proposing building details and construction methods.
- Estimating the cost of the internal production activities.
- Searching potential external suppliers.
- Managing price requests to external suppliers.
- Compiling the Tender submissions.
- Monitoring Tenders after submission and respond to any further requests by the client.
- Managing all communications with the client during the Tender process.

The ideal Estimator will have graduated with at least an HND or equivalent qualification and some practical experience ideally exposure to a suitable specialist sub-contractor and preferably with experience of dry lining or partitions and curtain walling, cladding and roofing. You will have a focused attitude, and excellent communication skills and must be able to work as part of a team and possess a high level of motivation.

The salary will be dependent and a product of experience. In return, the package will include a car allowance and additional benefits which will be negotiable. Quantity Surveyor, Central London

Our client is an expanding specialist sub-contractor actively working in the façade sector working on a number of re-clad projects, offering the complete design, supply and installation of integrated façade and envelope solutions. With new project wins and more in the pipeline, they seek a Quantity Surveyor to join the team.

Reporting to the Commercial Director role will be to assist the project team with commercial functions on a number of current prestigious projects. Duties will include:

  • assisting in all aspects of the financial control of the project
  • valuations
  • measurements
  • cost reports
  • attending meetings
  • ensuring that adequate cost monitoring and management is undertaken
  • co-ordinate and agree the production of final accounts with various parties
  • ensure that project approvals and completions can be obtained at the required times

Required Attributes and Experience


The ideal Quantity Surveyors will have a minimum of 5 years practical gained within a suitable specialist sub-contractor and preferably with experience of curtain walling, cladding, glazing and roofing. Ideally you will have worked on re-clad projects already, but Quantity Surveyors who have worked with main contractors or other specialist sub-contractors will be considered if they are an adapt and capable Quantity Surveyor keen to gain experience in cladding and facade systems or working with a specialist sub-contractor on large build projects.


You will have a focused attitude, and excellent communication skills and must be able to work as part of a team and possess a high level of motivation. Ideally you will also have a degree or equivalent qualification.

The salary will be dependant on level of exposure to industry and can go beyond the stated level above for first class individuals. Bonus and additional benefits also make up the package. The group are a recognised performer in industry within the sector in which they operate.

Excellent opportunity for an experienced estimator looking for a challenging and rewarding role within a growing established specialist sub-contractor. We are looking for a confident and professional individual with experience of passive fire protection projects to join our team.

Projects range from small works packages between £100k-£200k and larger projects up to £2.5m in value; all involving exciting transformations for our clients and the opportunity to create modern spaces where people can work well together.

You will be an experienced contractor's estimator, with at least 5 years' experience with a suitable sub-contractor or a fit out contractor working within the commercial and education sectors. You will also preferably have some professional qualifications.

* You will thrive in a team environment and have a keen sense for opportunity as well as strong professional integrity.

* You will have excellent IT, literacy and numeracy skills as well as the ability to analyse and report on commercial matters.

* You will have a good understanding of standard forms of construction contracts (JCT/NEC) with experience in traditional and design and build contracting.

Business Development Manager

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a UK Senior Sales / Business Development Manager to join our busy facades and cladding team, to source, manage and grow key accounts in the South East. There will be a focus on targeting new build projects as well as re-clad and refurbishment works.

The role will be predominantly based from offices in West London, with the expectation to set up and attend regular prospecting meetings across the Greater London area, attend site for pre-start meetings and site updates at various locations. With an already existing customer base, the ideal candidate will not only maintain strong relationships with key accounts but continue to grow our customer portfolio in the designated areas. The focus will be on the Greater London area.

You will work closely with the Commercial Manager and Director to develop new opportunities for profitable and sustainable growth.

  • Reading construction drawings and BoQ's, working with Main Contractors to agree product detail, programme schedules and lead times.

  • Working closely with Sales Administrators to draw up order details for customer sign off.
  • Work with the Estimating Department to manage sales enquiries.
  • Maintain an up-to-date record of all leads and sales via our bespoke CRM system.

UK Senior Sales / Business Development Manager Requirements:

  • You will have a proven track record of self-generated leads to execute these strategies driving business both in new and existing markets.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
  • Ideally have experience in the Door and Windows industry.
